Caraeno88 St James’s Street, Mayfair

Refurbishment and complete rebuilding of a Grade II listed building built in 1905, returning it back to its original grandeur. Work was carried out in a manner respecting the surviving historic fabric in order to provide eight modern luxury apartments. This highly sensitive site is located adjacent to St James’s Palace with its Royal occupants.

The project included the creation of additional floor area by extending the existing basement to cover the whole site footprint and inserting a new lightweight steel structure within the central lightwell. The building provides state of the art AV/ IT and entertainment, specialist lighting, catering and dining, luxury fitness wellbeing and spa facilities including a swimming pool. A new fully automated parking system was constructed at basement level and accessed via a new entrance.
