Overview
The restoration of an early 18th-Century Grade II listed building in central London to create a beautiful five-storey home. The project was carried out whilst appreciating the building’s heritage through careful conservation and sensitive adaptations to restore it as a modest and comfortable home.
Significant structural works were undertaken, including constructing a new lift shaft and replacing the services infrastructure, all whilst working around the surviving internal 18th Century fabric such as the staircase, joinery, panelling, fibrous plaster and fireplaces.
